The role at Hoffbrau Steaks is centered around providing the highest level of service to guests, ensuring that each visit is both enjoyable and satisfactory. The role involves direct interaction with guests, taking and processing their orders via a POS system, answering questions about food, beverages, and the facilities, and ensuring accurate and appropriate service of alcoholic beverages according to company and regulatory standards.

In addition to these responsibilities, the job requires developing relationships with guests to make their experience more personal and positive. Employees will also be in charge of various tasks to maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels in the work area, preparing for opening, mid-shift, or closing duties. The position demands physical endurance to stand, walk, lift, and handle tasks such as changing kegs. Flexibility is required to cover shifts that include weekends and holidays. The role also requires employees to hold and maintain a current TABC serving permit and food handler's permit, emphasizing the importance of proper food handling and legal compliance. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must clearly speak and write English
  • Required to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
  • Required to purchase appropriate uniform upon hiring
  • Required to stand, walk, lift, climb stairs and bend for long periods of time
  • Must be able to change kegs out when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Maintains a current TABC serving permit and food handler’s permit
  • Possesses excellent people skills and displays outgoing personalities
  • Has and maintains a team player attitude
  • Displays hard working and honest character
  • Demonstrates competency as outlined in the training schedule
  • Maintains full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information
  • Constantly increases knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services

Job Duties

  • Communicate with guest to compile food and drink order
  • Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner
  • Key guest’s food and drink order into POS system
  • Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards
  • Develops relationships with guests
  • Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner
  • Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience at Hoffbrau Steaks
  • Make appropriate change when necessary
  • Process credit card transactions in accordance with company standards
  • Maintains full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information
  • Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services
  • Does side work during non-busy hours
  • Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area
  • Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards
  • Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the management team
  • Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling
