The Server role is integral to our restaurant's operations, acting as the front-line ambassador to our guests. This full-time position involves interacting directly with customers, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience through attentive and personalized service. Servers are expected to know the menu intimately, including beverage options such as wine pairings, allowing them to make insightful recommendations that enhance the dining experience. Working closely with other wait and kitchen staff, the Server plays a critical role in maintaining smooth service flow, addressing guest needs proactively, and resolving any issues promptly. The job requires excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a bustling environment where multitasking is essential. Candidates must possess a friendly and professional demeanor, embody an attitude of going above and beyond for each guest, and be willing to contribute to the overall positive culture of the restaurant. The position requires standing for entire scheduled shifts and adapting to fast-paced, confined spaces while maintaining high-quality service standards. Prior restaurant experience is not mandatory; however, a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial. The role includes responsibilities like greeting guests, handling orders with a Micros POS system, ensuring legal compliance with alcohol service, pre-bussing, and table resetting. Certification such as TIPs and ABC relevant to the market is preferred.
