They are currently hiring an hourly Food Service Worker position that requires flexibility to work days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.

This Food Service Worker role is centered on supporting the preparation, service, and delivery of meals to residents, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and adherence to dietary guidelines tailored to each individual’s needs. The position involves crucial responsibilities such as setting up dining areas, assisting cooks and supervisors in food preparation, and managing the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining spaces. The employee will also handle meal carts, record refrigerator temperatures, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and community policies alongside internal regulations. This role requires a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, patient rights, confidentiality laws including HIPAA, and accredited agency standards, reflecting the organization's dedication to upholding ethical and professional workplace practices.

Those selected for this position will be entrusted with significant duties like cleaning and stocking work areas, washing and storing dishes, preparing meal setups according to specific procedures, and delivering meals promptly to residents. They will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure food quality and safety measures are followed precisely. Furthermore, the Food Service Worker will participate in mandatory departmental meetings and complete required annual training and certifications, demonstrating accountability and a commitment to continuous professional development. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of food service experience, foundational knowledge of food preparation and sanitation, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. This role plays a vital part in creating a comfortable and pleasant dining experience for residents while complying with all regulatory and policy requirements within the facility.

Job Duties
