  • knowledge of liquor laws and compliance
  • physical and mental ability to perform duties

  • able to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate tools and controls
  • 21 years or older

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • current Food Handler's Permit
  • current Alcohol Certification
  • at least one year of related experience
  • knowledge of liquor laws
  • ability to use POS systems
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Coordinate efforts of restaurant and kitchen personnel to exceed guest expectations
  • prepare dining tables according to restaurant setup
  • engage with guests to provide a welcoming atmosphere
  • follow company sequence of service for a smooth guest experience
  • demonstrate product knowledge and use sales skills to recommend menu and beverage options
  • process guest orders accurately using the Aloha POS system
  • observe diners to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests
  • adhere to State Liquor Laws and company RASP plan
  • assist busser with restocking and cleaning tasks
  • total bills and accept payment accurately
  • perform side work including napkin and utensil roll-ups, menu maintenance, garnish preparation, and cleaning
  • follow company policies and procedures
  • perform other related duties as assigned
