Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work day, evening, weekends and public holidays
- Reliable and available for scheduled shifts
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and handle operational tools
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities
- Effective communication skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Current alcohol certification
- Minimum of 1 year serving experience
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Strong organization and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with liquor laws and compliance
Job Duties
- Coordinate efforts of restaurant and kitchen personnel to exceed guest expectations
- Prepare dining tables according to specified setup
- Engage guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Follow company sequence of service to ensure smooth dining flow
- Demonstrate product knowledge and use salesmanship for menu and specials
- Process orders accurately using Aloha POS system
- Observe diners to ensure satisfaction and address additional requests
- Adhere to state liquor laws and company RASP plan
- Assist busser with stocking, clearing, and resetting tables
- Accurately total bills and accept payments
- Perform side work such as napkin and utensil roll-ups, menu cleaning, and restaurant upkeep
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
