In this Server role, individuals are entrusted with the important responsibility of enhancing the customer’s dining experience by delivering attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable service. The server acts as a bridge between the kitchen and guests, coordinating efforts to deliver meals promptly, accurately, and appealingly. Primary duties include preparing dining tables as per restaurant standards, engaging warmly with guests to create a welcoming environment, and carefully following an established sequence of service to maintain a smooth dining flow. The role demands thorough product knowledge, enabling the server to confidently discuss menu items, daily specials, and various beverage options including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors. By applying effective salesmanship and attentiveness, the server helps guests make informed choices, increasing satisfaction and potential sales revenue. Utilizing the Aloha POS system, the server efficiently processes orders and ensures timely delivery of food and beverages. The position additionally involves monitoring guest satisfaction, responding proactively to requests, and ensuring compliance with all state liquor laws and the company’s Responsible Alcohol Service Program (RASP). Servers assist with ancillary tasks such as resetting tables, stocking utensils, performing side work including cleaning and prepping tasks, and accurately handling payment transactions. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to stay composed under pressure, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking skills. Physical demands include frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and enduring long periods of standing and walking, making stamina and physical resilience essential qualities. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, thrive in dynamic settings, and are committed to delivering top-tier hospitality consistently. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, current Food Handler's Permit, and alcohol service certification, with at least one year of prior experience in a similar role. - Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work day, evening, weekends and public holidays
- Reliable and available for scheduled shifts
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and handle operational tools
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities
- Effective communication skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Current alcohol certification
- Minimum of 1 year serving experience
