Job Description

Hotel del Coronado is an iconic Victorian beach resort located on Coronado Island, just minutes from Downtown San Diego. Established in 1888, this historic hotel stands as one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. The property spans 28 acres and includes over 750 rooms, encompassing cottages and villas, alongside 65,000 square feet of banquet space. Its charm has been revitalized through a $400 million renovation and expansion, making the resort more stunning and luxurious than ever before. The hotel offers an impressive array of amenities, including 10 food and beverage outlets such as 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining services. These facilities make it not only a remarkable destination for guests but also a vibrant and dynamic workplace for its team members.

As a Server at Hotel del Coronado, you will play a vital role within the Food & Beverage team by creating unforgettable guest experiences marked by exceptional hospitality and service. Beyond simply delivering food and drinks, you will be the friendly face that spreads warmth and positivity to hotel guests, enriching their stay with memorable interactions. Your role will involve engaging with guests enthusiastically, mastering the details of the menu including promotions and specials, and efficiently managing orders through the point-of-sale system to ensure timely and accurate delivery. You will also be responsible for keeping the food service station fully stocked, clean, and organized, maintaining high standards of hygiene and compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations. This position offers the unique opportunity to become part of a celebrated and historic institution while contributing to a team dedicated to excellence in hospitality.

At Hilton, core values such as hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency guide the company’s approach and define the qualities sought in every team member. Working here means joining a company that not only values your contributions but also invests in your career growth and development.
