The role in question is designed for individuals passionate about hospitality, customer service, and craft beer knowledge. It requires a welcoming and professional demeanor, as the individual will be responsible for creating a positive and lasting impression on patrons. This position demands weekend availability, including both Saturdays and Sundays, highlighting the importance of flexibility in scheduling. Key responsibilities include opening and closing duties, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work and service areas, attending pre-shift meetings, and ensuring responsible alcohol service with up-to-date TiPS certification.

The successful candidate will also be adept at multitasking, taking and expediting food orders, and demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings and preparation techniques. A strong emphasis is placed on beer knowledge, with the expectation that the employee can accurately describe beers on tap and in bottles, compare and contrast beer styles, and understand proper glassware and pricing. Communication skills are critical, with duties including answering telephone inquiries and accurately handling monetary transactions.

Physical demands are notable in this role, including the ability to lift objects weighing up to 56.5 pounds and carry them over distances, push and pull weights up to 50 pounds, and maintain grip strength for handling items like buckets and cases. Employees must also be capable of climbing stairs and performing movements such as stooping, kneeling, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead. The position involves frequent standing and walking, emphasizing the need for physical stamina.
