The role in question is designed for individuals passionate about hospitality, customer service, and craft beer knowledge. This position demands weekend availability, including both Saturdays and Sundays, highlighting the importance of flexibility in scheduling. The successful candidate will also be adept at multitasking, taking and expediting food orders, and demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings and preparation techniques. A strong emphasis is placed on beer knowledge, with the expectation that the employee can accurately describe beers on tap and in bottles, compare and contrast beer styles, and understand proper glassware and pricing. Communication skills are critical, with duties including answering telephone inquiries and accurately handling monetary transactions.

Physical demands are notable in this role, including the ability to lift objects weighing up to 56.5 pounds and carry them over distances, push and pull weights up to 50 pounds, and maintain grip strength for handling items like buckets and cases. Job Duties

  • Opening setup and closing duties and light cleaning projects
  • Maintains clean and organized work area and service station
  • Attends pre-shift meetings
  • Cleans and stocks glassware
  • Ensures the responsible service of alcohol to customers and retains up-to-date TiPS certification
  • Cuts off individuals and communicates to proper channels
  • Take food orders, expediting food, etc
  • Full knowledge of menu offerings and preparation techniques
  • Stock service area with supplies
  • Answers the telephone and passes callers to the proper authority
  • Accurately tendering money and giving change for purchases
  • Beer knowledge: accurately describe all beers on tap and bottles in cooler, compare and contrast beers and styles, know proper glassware and price points
  • Full knowledge of all employee discounts, policies, procedures for sales reps and guests
  • Must have a flexible schedule, nights and weekends are required
  • Other duties as assigned
