Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work on uneven or slippery surfaces
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to follow company safety and security policies
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems like MICROS
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards
- Answer questions on menu selections
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware throughout the day
- Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
- Welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- Assist individuals with disabilities
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
