Job Description

Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern is a vibrant neighborhood tavern known for its fun, fast, and friendly atmosphere. As a Server at Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern, you will play a pivotal role in crafting memorable dining experiences by making "Raving Fans" of our associates, guests, purveyors, partners, and the communities we serve. This position is essential in delivering top-tier hospitality through an in-depth knowledge of our food, wine, and liquor offerings, combined with proficiency in service procedures. Our servers are ambassadors of the brand, responsible for fostering a positive atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction at every turn. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards
  • Compliance with safety, health, and sanitation guidelines
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule
  • Uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned
  • Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts
  • Exemplifies hospitality standards
  • Answers guest's questions about the restaurant
  • Handles requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority
  • Cooperates with management and co-workers to assist others with duties if needed
  • Communicates suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion
  • Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly
  • Knows emergency procedures in the restaurant
  • Performs all duties and maintains knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook
