DineAmic Hospitality is a renowned hospitality company specializing in chef-driven dining experiences in Chicago's vibrant River North district. The company is seeking skilled servers to join its team at several River North properties. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who can excel in a fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. Servers at DineAmic Hospitality are expected to provide attentive and personalized service to guests, demonstrating comprehensive food and beverage knowledge. The position involves executing all steps of service with precision, warmth, and efficiency while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining atmosphere.

Servers collaborate closely with bartenders and support staff to ensure seamless service and play a role in promoting the restaurant’s rewards program and other guest engagement initiatives. Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Experience in high-volume restaurant environments preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per state law
  • Valid or obtainable alcohol service certification
  • Valid or obtainable food service certification
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and twist frequently
  • Ability to move safely through kitchen area including slick floors and tight spaces

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service fundamentals
  • Valid alcohol service certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe
  • Valid food service certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Demonstrated professionalism and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests from greeting through farewell
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items including allergens
  • Accurately enter orders into POS system and ensure proper timing
  • Monitor table progress and anticipate guest needs
  • Collaborate with support staff, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure seamless service
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly while confirming order accuracy and presentation standards
  • Encourage guests to join the restaurant’s rewards program
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming section
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side work
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service standards
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate as needed
  • Follow all company policies, sanitation guidelines, and food safety standards
  • Support team morale and assist during high-volume periods
  • Execute private dining or special event service as required
  • Perform additional duties within scope of role
