We are currently seeking friendly and reliable Restaurant Servers to join our team at Relish. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of customer service the hotel is known for, serving both food and beverages to guests with a courteous and timely approach. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including both full-time and part-time opportunities, making it ideal for individuals seeking work-life balance or supplementary income. Starting wage is $12.00 per hour plus gratuity, highlighting our commitment to fair compensation for our team members.

As a Restaurant Server at The Kensington Hotel, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service, accurate order taking, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your duties will include greeting guests warmly, promoting menu items, and abiding by all legal and corporate requirements related to serving alcoholic beverages. Additionally, you will handle transactions, maintain inventory of fresh garnishes and perishables, and support fellow servers by preparing beverages. The role demands a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must be 18 years or older
Must be legally permitted to work in the country

Job Duties

Serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
Maintain stock, cut and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
Promote and document orders for drinks
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all moneys
Lock up and store all beverage, food and other equipment, deposit cash drops and secure bank
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
