We are currently seeking friendly and reliable Restaurant Servers to join our team at Relish. This role is vital for ensuring that guests have a pleasant and satisfying visit, marked by timely and courteous service. As a Restaurant Server, you will interact closely with customers, taking and serving orders with a focus on accuracy and hospitality. This role demands a high level of stamina and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The position offers flexible scheduling options with both full-time and part-time opportunities available, making it ideal for individuals seeking a role that can accommodate different lifestyles. Compensation is set at $12.00 per hour plus gratuity, reflecting our commitment to recognizing the value of excellent service.

In this position, servers are responsible not only for the direct service of guests but also for several behind-the-scenes tasks that ensure operational efficiency and quality. Their duties include preparing and serving beverages and food, maintaining the freshness and stock of garnishes and perishables, and managing point-of-sale transactions accurately. Servers must also adhere strictly to all relevant State, Federal, and Corporate policies, particularly those related to the responsible serving of alcoholic beverages. This adherence safeguards both our guests and our establishment, maintaining our exemplary reputation. Furthermore, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards through proper lock-up and equipment storage complements the role's service aspects.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in serving or customer service preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to follow state and federal alcohol service laws
  • capable of working flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • ability to handle cash and operate a point of sale register
  • friendly and professional demeanor
  • basic understanding of alcohol serving regulations

Job Duties

  • serve beverages and or food to guests in a friendly courteous and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction
  • prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
  • maintain stock cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality
  • greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner promote and document orders for drinks
  • abide by all state federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
  • input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
  • receive cash from guests make any change needed verify validity of charges record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed in order to balance all moneys
  • lock up and store all beverage food and other equipment deposit cash drops and secure bank
  • perform any other job related duties as assigned
