Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Availability to work flexible hours including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to clock in and out on time and follow break schedules
- Providing sufficient notice when calling out for shifts
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and linens
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
- Friendly service with a smile to guests
- Flexible schedule including availability for days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Punctuality in clocking in/out and adherence to scheduled shifts
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Have strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet every guest happily by name if possible while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Ensure handover reports are accurate and timely for shift-to-shift communication
- Wear clean, approved uniform, be well-groomed, wear a nametag, and smile at all times
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Show willingness to stretch beyond traditional role to meet business needs
- Work collaboratively to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Greet guests and give clear descriptions of food and beverage options
- Deliver hot to order items from kitchen to tables quickly
- Input orders accurately into POS and secure payment
- Prepare coffee and other specialized drinks
- Clear, clean, and reset tables for dining as needed
- Observe diners and respond to requests
- Complete daily inventory prep sheet and other side work
- Maintain knowledge of current food and beverage offerings
- Escort guests to tables as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and surrounding areas
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities
