Job Description

Eureka! is a dynamic and values-driven restaurant brand celebrated for delivering a local blend of America's best craft beer, whiskey, and culinary delights. The name 'Eureka!' embodies the excitement of discovery and solving something new, which reflects the brand's commitment to providing exceptional experiences through passionate service and high-quality offerings. The company culture revolves around enthusiasm, inclusivity, and a dedication to creating memorable moments for guests while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment for team members. As a growing restaurant enterprise, Eureka! seeks talented individuals who are eager to contribute positively to the guest experience as well as the broader team dynamics. The restaurant prides itself on attracting guests who crave classic favorites and contemporary menu items that showcase a fusion of tradition and modern flavor profiles.

The position of Server at Eureka! sits at the heart of guest interactions, requiring an outgoing and positive personality that can greet customers warmly and deliver friendly, efficient food and beverage service. This non-exempt role reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to other management personnel. The Server is expected to uphold Eureka!'s brand passion and values by maintaining consistency in attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies as outlined in the employee handbook and training materials. Key responsibilities involve knowing the menu and bar offerings, including craft beers and whiskeys, ensuring orders are taken accurately and fulfilled promptly to meet quality and time standards. Servers will operate point-of-sale systems competently, engage in seat and table management, and maintain a neat dining environment through tasks like bussing tables, polishing silverware, and replenishing condiments.

Moreover, the role demands physical endurance given the fast-paced, often congested work environment that involves prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and working near hot or hazardous equipment. Servers at Eureka! are also responsible for adhering to state and federal regulations concerning alcohol service. This job demands not only operational excellence but also the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy toward all guests. Candidates for this role must be at least 18 years of age and hold essential certifications like the TAM/Alcohol Awareness Card and Food Handler Safety Training Card.

Serving at Eureka! offers an opportunity to join a brand that treasures discovery and joy, where employees can grow in their skills, work within a passionate team, and contribute to the hospitality industry with distinction. This role promises a rewarding experience for service-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-centric restaurant environment committed to excellence and guest satisfaction.
