This community is committed to upholding high standards in healthcare, hospitality, and everyday living assistance, making it a rewarding place to work for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of elders.
As a Server at Mennonite Village, you will play a vital role in enriching the dining experience for our residents. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and providing excellent service in a collaborative setting. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you will have the chance to contribute to the well-being and happiness of residents by ensuring that meal services are delivered smoothly, accurately, and with a friendly demeanor. Paid between $16.00 and $17.25 per hour depending on experience, this role offers competitive compensation alongside valuable benefits including paid time off, employee meal discounts, education scholarships, and access to a 24/7 on-site fitness center.
The role extends beyond simply serving food; it encompasses assisting in food preparation following strict safety and quality guidelines, verifying special dietary requirements before meal delivery, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Servers at Mennonite Village are integral to creating a positive atmosphere that enhances residents' dining enjoyment and overall quality of life. This position encourages teamwork, professionalism, and compassion, offering a fulfilling work experience that supports not only residents but also personal career development in the hospitality and healthcare sectors.
