Job Description

Virgin Hotels is a dynamic and innovative hospitality company renowned for creating vibrant and inclusive spaces that prioritize guest experience and comfort. Part of the Virgin Group, the brand is committed to delivering exceptional service through a responsive and welcoming environment. The company prides itself on blending thoughtful design with personalized service to create memorable moments for every guest. With a focus on diversity, Virgin Hotels fosters a workplace culture where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute their talents. The establishment offers a lively and engaging atmosphere that attracts both leisure and business travelers, ensuring that every stay is marked by comfort, creativity, and unparalleled attention to detail.

The Server position at Virgin Hotels, specifically at Kassi Beach House, is a critical role responsible for elevating the guest dining experience through attentive, knowledgeable, and warm service. This role reports directly to Kassi Beach House management and involves delivering timely food and beverage service while anticipating guest needs based on preferences, history, and requests. Serving as the face of the hotel’s dining establishment, the Server is expected to engage enthusiasm and professionalism, promoting the unique dining experience Virgin Hotels offers. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality, who have a keen eye for detail and who excel in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.

A Server at Kassi Beach House helps ensure guest satisfaction by interacting with customers from greeting to the conclusion of their meal, offering insightful recommendations, and managing orders efficiently through POS systems. Beyond just taking orders, the Server contributes to creating lasting impressions that encourage repeat patronage and positive word-of-mouth for the venue. This role demands an individual who is physically capable of handling plate service and tray carrying, possesses strong communication skills, and understands the nuances of food, beverage, wine service, and proper table etiquette. With typically three to five years of banquet, catering, or full-service restaurant experience, the Server plays an integral part in maintaining the high standards of Virgin Hotels’ hospitality.

Candidates accepted for this position should expect to work an active role involving standing for extended periods, navigating a busy and sometimes noisy environment, and performing side work duties including cleaning and organizing. The role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and appearance, requiring a neat and well-groomed presence at all times. The Server should be ready to lead by example and demonstrate superior customer service, meeting both guest expectations and company standards. Virgin Hotels values diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, encouraging qualified applicants from all backgrounds to apply. This position offers a unique chance to join a forward-thinking hospitality brand that values employee contribution and guest satisfaction in equal measure.
