Job Description

The Heritage at Brentwood is a premier senior living community that prides itself on delivering high-quality food and exceptional southern hospitality. Dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment, The Heritage at Brentwood offers a supportive and enriching workplace where employees are valued and the diverse backgrounds of team members are celebrated. Unlike the fast-paced hotel and restaurant sectors, this establishment provides a more stable, respectful atmosphere conducive to both personal and professional growth. With various dining venues within the community, including Fireside Grille, a contemporary restaurant known for American classics and comfort dishes; Southern Oak, an upscale dining experience with a refined atmosphere; Steeplechase Lounge, a favored spot for classic cocktails; and Corner Marke, a casual area for pastries and quick bites, the community ensures a dynamic and inviting setting for residents and staff alike.

In addition to these dining outlets, The Heritage at Brentwood hosts catered events in Poplar Hall and operates Somerfield Health Center, a 5-star rated skilled nursing and assisted living facility. This diversity within the community allows team members to engage in a broad range of hospitality and dietary service roles, making the workplace vibrant and multifaceted. Employees benefit from working closely with senior residents, gaining unique insights and rewarding experiences by being part of their daily lives. The community is committed to investing in its staff, offering opportunities for growth and promoting a culture where work extends beyond just a job to becoming part of an extraordinary life.

The current job opening is for a part-time hospitality position designed to offer flexibility and balance, especially for students and individuals seeking after-school or weekend hours. This role pays $16 per hour and typically involves working from 3 pm to 8 pm, four days a week, amounting to 20 hours per week. The schedule excludes late nights and evening shifts on Sundays or holidays, making it ideal for those prioritizing work-life balance. Importantly, no previous experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, making this a perfect opportunity for applicants aged 16 and older who are eager to start or continue their journey in hospitality. Responsibilities include maintaining high levels of customer service for residents and guests, taking orders with courtesy, clearing tables, managing accurate documentation of charges, answering menu-related questions, and completing cleaning and side work tasks. The Heritage at Brentwood values courteous, reliable team members who are passionate about contributing to a caring community environment.

For full-time employees, a robust benefits package is available, featuring medical, dental, vision care, voluntary life, and short-term disability insurance. Additional benefits include employer-paid basic life insurance, long-term disability coverage, an employee referral bonus program, a DailyPay option allowing employees to access their earnings immediately after working, paid time off and holidays, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Prospective candidates will be subject to a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening, with marijuana excluded from the drug test. The Heritage at Brentwood is committed to equal employment opportunities and encourages individuals from all walks of life to apply and become part of their growing hospitality team. By joining this community, employees not only gain employment but become part of an extraordinary lifestyle dedicated to enhancing the lives of senior residents while building their own rewarding careers.
