Job Requirements

- valid food handler and OLCC cards or ability to obtain within 30 days
- ability to perform in multiple server roles including tempura station
- ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
- ability to lift and carry trays up to 50 lbs
- manual dexterity to cut and chop foods
- tolerance to kitchen environment heat, steam, and cold
- not eligible for telework, flexible schedule, or additional holidays
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to set tone and atmosphere for customers and staff
- ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment at a consistent tempo

- ability to follow all health and safety policies and procedures
- ability to operate a POS system and other store electronics such as an iPad
- must have or obtain valid food handler and OLCC cards within 30 days of hire
- ability to function in support delivery, primary server, secondary server, server help, togo, prep/delivery, and tempura stations
Job Duties
- Greets and seats customers
- answers questions about the menu and makes recommendations including upselling
- accurately takes orders and communicates them to the kitchen staff
- understands and communicates any food allergies or special instructions to kitchen staff
- follows OLCC guidelines for alcohol orders and service
- answers the phone and takes orders
- ensures all orders are filled quickly and accurately and food is high quality
- provides attentive service such as refilling drinks and checking on guests needs during the meal
- promptly addresses customer service issues and refers them to the appropriate person
- performs cleaning and sanitation duties such as server station and tables
- takes and processes customer payments using a POS system
- operates all functions of POS including discounts and rewards
- completes side prep work such as cutting cucumbers and refilling condiments
- packs up to go orders and rings out customers
- works in the Tempura station as needed
- assists kitchen staff as needed
- cleans outside server area and dishes
- performs other duties as assigned
