The position available is an AM Server role at the Radisson Blu Mall of America, managed by Choice's portfolio that includes upscale brands such as Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. Radisson Blu Mall of America is an upper upscale hotel offering 500 design-forward guest rooms and over 26,000 square feet of meeting space. It is notable for its strategic location as the first hotel connected to the Mall of America. The AM Server position is situated within the FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar, a vibrant restaurant known for its regional, local, and sustainable food offerings prepared with techniques like grilling, rotisserie, and smoking with natural wood flavoring. The restaurant features 175 seats and a 125-seat lounge with a local brews selection, curated wines, and a modern cocktail program.
This hourly wage position offers $11.41 per hour along with several attractive benefits such as employee discounts on thousands of hotels, complimentary meals during shifts, free parking, and paid sick time aligned with Minnesota Earned Sick and Safe Time regulations. The role of the AM Server is centered on creating 100 percent guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, efficient, and genuine hospitality service to patrons of FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar. Key tasks include greeting guests, providing detailed menu explanations, taking orders, preparing and presenting meals, replenishing beverages including coffee, clearing and resetting tables efficiently, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area. The server also works collaboratively with the service team to meet and exceed guest expectations, setting up beverage stations for shifts, and demonstrating the "Yes I Can!" attitude that is synonymous with Radisson hospitality.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and verbal communication skills. Candidates must have at least one year of restaurant serving experience in an upscale, high-volume environment, adherence to local and state liquor laws, an understanding of safe service practices, and capability with cash handling and Point of Sale systems. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, maneuver heavier weights occasionally, and sustain standing for extended periods.

Job Duties
- Provides food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant
- provides guest with overview of menu choices
- takes guest’s order and provides explanation of menu as appropriate

- makes and pours coffee for the customers
- clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
