We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Server to join the Playa team within this prestigious resort. The role at Playa offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and dedicated team that strives to deliver outstanding guest service in a sophisticated dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in elevated dining settings, be comfortable with menu pairings, and demonstrate an openness to flexible shift patterns with open availability. This position emphasizes delivering exceptional food and beverage service with a focus on guest satisfaction, efficiency, and professionalism.

As a Server, you will be responsible for providing guests with personalized, attentive service by responding promptly to their needs, accurately taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. You will be trained and expected to have thorough knowledge of the menu, daily promotions, and specials to guide guest choices effectively. The role involves using the point-of-sale system for order processing, timely delivery of food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks in compliance with regulations, and maintaining a well-stocked serving station throughout service.   • Previous experience as a server in a luxury or elevated dining setting
  • Open availability for shifts
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
  • Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
