The ideal candidate for this position is someone with at least two years of fine dining service experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Passion for food and a positive, professional attitude are essential, as is a team-oriented mindset. Servers at Peche Seafood Grill are expected to be knowledgeable about food and beverage offerings, possess an interest in local, seasonal, and sustainable cuisine, and have a basic understanding of wine. Experience working in a 'Front-Waiter/Back-Waiter' team structure is advantageous, enhancing the collaborative service ethos that the restaurant embodies.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the guest experience from start to finish, acting as a guest advocate by addressing inquiries and additional menu needs. Familiarity with the menu’s preparation and ingredients is crucial, as is attention to detail in table maintenance, such as water service, pre-bussing, and clearing plates between courses. Handling guest payment accurately and timely, supporting fellow team members to ensure guest satisfaction, and maintaining grooming and dress code standards are also key responsibilities.

Job Duties
- Oversee the guest experience and act as guest advocate regarding inquiries and additional needs on the menu
- Stay updated on all menu items, preparation, and ingredients of all dishes
- Ensure proper table maintenance including water service, pre-bussing, clear plates between courses, etc.
- Ensure guests are charged correctly and accurately and receive payment in a timely fashion for all items served
- Support other team members to ensure guest satisfaction before, during, and after service in the completion of their duties
- Adhere to grooming and dress code standards
