One of the properties under the Pyramid Global Hospitality umbrella is the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, located atop the striking San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174 feet. Surrounded by Ponderosa Pines and offering exclusive access to the 780-acre Lake Arrowhead reservoir, this resort caters to outdoor enthusiasts with activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and ziplining. The resort features a Bar & Restaurant, a Spa & Wellness Center, an outdoor pool, a lake beach, and more than 23,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

The opportunity available is for a motivated and customer-focused Restaurant Server at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. This role involves being the face of the restaurant, responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests. Responsibilities include maintaining clean and tidy tables, presenting menus, accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent communication with guests and team members. Successful candidates need to be quick on their feet, have an engaging personality, and possess the ability to describe menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead
  • greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant
  • guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests
  • be the master of the menu, understanding the details to enhance the conversation
  • work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
  • finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
