We are currently seeking a Server to join our dynamic culinary team. The Server will be responsible for greeting residents, helping them to their tables, and responding promptly to their requests, including providing refills and addressing any special dietary requirements or preferences. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in similar food service or healthcare setting preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Comfortable assisting residents with physical or mobility challenges
Ability to maintain a calm and compassionate demeanor in stressful situations
Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in similar facility or food service preferred
Communicate effectively with all other culinary staff to coordinate meal service efficiently
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and portion sizes to answer resident questions accurately
Have positive and effective communication skills with residents and culinary team
Address any resident concerns or special requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met with care and attention
Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance the dining experience
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures
Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation principles
Capability to remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations
Problem-solving abilities to promptly address concerns or complaints, with the ability to quickly pivot from one task to the next
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships

Job Duties

Take meal orders accurately while considering their dietary restrictions and preferences
