The role currently open at Provincial Senior Living is for a Server position within their community. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards of hospitality and service that the company is known for. The Server will be responsible for utilizing proper food handling and food service techniques to ensure a delightful dining experience for residents and guests. This position demands attentiveness to detail, a friendly and timely manner in taking and serving meal and drink orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The Server will also maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all specials and food items, appropriately explaining them to residents or guests. Cleanliness and organization of assigned tables and surrounding areas are essential, as is adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene and safety standards. This role includes assisting with the orientation and training of new food servers, practicing all safety and loss prevention procedures, and ensuring the dining room is set up and cleaned to meet or exceed hospitality standards.

Maintaining personal and workplace cleanliness, completing opening and closing checklists, and organizing dining room flow and supplies are also critical duties. The Server contributes significantly to the overall dining experience, ensuring that every meal service reflects the company’s commitment to excellence and care. Job Duties

  • sets-up and cleans the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards
  • maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene
  • performs and completes opening and closing checklist criteria
  • assists in dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization and supplies placement
  • other duties as assigned
