Job Description

Wallick Senior Living is a leading senior living community that has been serving its residents for nearly 60 years. The company is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where residents can enjoy their golden years with dignity, comfort, and joy. Wallick Senior Living operates with a mission to open doors to homes, opportunities, and hope for its residents and employees alike. As a 100% employee-owned organization, Wallick fosters a culture of collaboration, respect, and empowerment. The company places a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, ensuring that all associates feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work each day.

Wallick Senior Living's unique approach to senior care extends beyond providing basic services. They focus on enriching the lives of their residents through meaningful activities, delicious meals, and comprehensive support that meets physical, emotional, and social needs. With a workforce of over 1,000 dedicated employees, the organization prioritizes work-life balance and employee well-being, offering competitive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance starting within two weeks of employment, paid parental leave, gym membership reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan. They also provide pay-on-demand options facilitating employees' financial flexibility and career advancement opportunities through training, tuition reimbursement, and professional development.

The role of Server at Wallick Senior Living’s Ashford of Beavercreek location is a full-time position paying $14 per hour. Servers play a vital part in ensuring residents have an enjoyable dining experience by catering to their meal requests, maintaining a well-stocked dining environment, and supporting the overall team in daily operations. This position is not just about serving food; it’s about contributing to a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for. Servers at Wallick Senior Living work closely with residents and fellow team members to uphold the company’s values of care, character, and collaboration. They help maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation in the dining area, ensuring residents receive meals in a dignified and timely manner.

At Ashford of Beavercreek, servers are instrumental in creating a positive dining environment. Duties include setting up and cleaning the dining room, stocking the juice bar, coffee, and iced tea stations, and ensuring all utensils and glasses are clean and readily available. The role requires strong customer service skills, compassion, and flexibility. Experience in assisted living or memory care is beneficial but not essential, as eagerness to learn and a genuine desire to make a difference are highly valued. Being a member of the Wallick team means becoming part of a family that supports your growth, values your contributions, and shares in the company’s profits through its employee ownership.

Working at Wallick Senior Living means joining an organization that values you both professionally and personally. The supportive culture encourages meaningful connections with residents, making every shift rewarding and impactful. The company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion further enhances the work environment, promoting an atmosphere of respect and belonging. If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy interacting with seniors, and want a job that feels like a calling rather than just a paycheck, the Server position at Ashford of Beavercreek offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career while making a positive difference in your community.
