The role of Server at Legend Senior Living is integral to the culinary team, enhancing the dining experience by providing efficient, courteous, and attentive service to residents and their guests. This part-time position focuses on weekend and evening shifts, allowing servers to benefit from a satisfactory work-life balance. Unlike many traditional server roles, this position does not require late-night hours as the residents prefer earlier meals. Servers are compensated with a flat hourly wage, and tipping is not accepted to protect the residents' interests. Responsibilities include offering excellent customer service in an elegant restaurant-style dining environment, accurately taking and serving food and beverage orders, assisting with special requests, and maintaining the salad bar supply and temperature. Servers also clear tables, deliver soiled items for cleaning, and reset tables to ensure a smooth dining operation.
