Currently, Morrison Living is hiring for the role of part-time Server at their Carolina Bay At Autumn Hall location. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.50 to $16.00 and provides a flexible part-time schedule that may include work on weekends and holidays, with specific working hours to be detailed during the interview process. The Server role is vital to the success of the culinary team, which forms the core of the business. Servers at Morrison Living are tasked with delivering exceptional hospitality experiences by promptly and warmly greeting guests, efficiently taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation throughout the dining service.

The ideal candidate for the Server position possesses a minimum of two years' prior serving experience and is passionate about creating memorable dining moments. They must have a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and specialized dietary considerations including allergens. Servers act as ambassadors for the culinary team, advising guests on optimal food and beverage combinations and accommodating reasonable requests with professionalism and care. Communication skills are essential, as the Server coordinates closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are accurate and guests’ needs are met promptly. Beyond service delivery, Servers maintain dining areas by ensuring cleanliness and proper setup before and after service periods and contribute to a safe, welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service

  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients

  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special request accommodation

  • operate a variety of equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
