The Restaurant Server position at Hyatt Place Hyatt House Indy offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with passion and enthusiasm for hospitality. This role is integral to the Food & Beverage department and reports directly to the Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, or Food & Beverage Manager. Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service
- present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations
- take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system
- deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature
- check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs
- process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately
- maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization
- communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed
- follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
- assist with opening, closing, and side work duties
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
