Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
- demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- exhibit exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain high level of sensitivity regarding personal or medical information
- address complaints promptly and escalate to supervisor as necessary
- ensure proper setup and cleanliness of dining area before and after service
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform additional duties as assigned
