Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED degree
- One year food service experience preferred
- Fluent in English including reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Commitment to work with geriatric residents
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED degree
- One year of food service experience preferred
- Fluent in English including reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
- Commitment to working with geriatric residents
- Ability to follow directions and complete assignments
- Team player and able to multi-task
- ServSafe certification desirable
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Duties
- Set up dining area and trays for meal services
- Adhere to food safety guidelines
- Follow dietary restrictions based on residents' needs
- Assist the cook in meal preparation and service
- Deliver residents’ meal carts
- Clean and stock dining areas
- Record refrigerator temperatures and maintain kitchen sanitation
