The Server role at SSP America is a part-time position offering $16.30 per hour plus tips, with set schedules and the requirement of open weekend availability. This role is well suited for individuals who thrive in a friendly, high-energy environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Servers are the face of the restaurant, responsible for greeting guests in a timely and courteous manner, introducing them to our diverse menu of hand-crafted beverages and food, and ensuring that each guest has an exceptional experience. Server responsibilities include taking accurate orders, processing payments, and maintaining the restaurant’s setup and cleanliness according to health and safety standards.

A key aspect of this position involves being knowledgeable about the products offered, allowing servers to provide suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience and boost sales. Employees must adhere strictly to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations, ensuring responsible service of alcoholic beverages to guests. Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner
  • input orders into register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
  • receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of restaurant at all times
  • adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests at all times
  • perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
  • other duties as assigned
