The Server Cashier role is a non-exempt position that can be full-time or part-time. This role is integral to restaurant operations and is categorized under front-of-the-house level. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking and processing orders accurately and efficiently, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The Server Cashier also plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, handling payments through the cash register system, and working both in dining areas and drive-thru or phone-in order stations as assigned.
This position requires employees to deliver service quickly, conveniently, and in a friendly manner while ensuring all orders are accurate before delivery to customers whether dine-in, to-go, or drive-thru. Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 years
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of experience in restaurant or customer service
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to present Food Handler Card as required

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of experience as a server, cashier, line cook, prep cook, or customer service in a restaurant

Job Duties
- Provides excellent customer service before, during, and after taking orders
- Greets guests upon arrival, makes eye contact, and thanks guests when leaving
- Maintains cleanliness of the dining room, patio, parking lot, and assigned areas
- Works the drive-thru window and phone for phone-in orders as assigned
- Packages, checks, and delivers accurate orders to guests
- Ensures accuracy of all orders delivered to guests including dine-in, to-go, and drive-thru
- Maintains stock and cleanliness of required work areas as directed
- Follows the posted work schedule or arranges changes with the Manager in Charge
- Accepts and processes payments using the cash register system
- Ensures all sales are processed according to policy
- Informs the Manager in Charge of sales, cash, or operating discrepancies
- Counts and verifies cash drawer per store policy
- Protects product critical control points and food safety standards
- Immediately notifies the Manager in Charge of any food safety risks
- Attends and implements assigned food safety training
- Reports guest accidents or injuries following procedures
- Practices safe work habits and reports unsafe conditions
- Reads and follows Safety Data Sheets instructions and labeling systems
