The Server role at Bar Hunã is pivotal in ensuring that every guest receives an extraordinary dining and drinking experience. Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • efficiently take food and beverage orders, following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally
  • maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks
  • accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
  • communicate effectively with service assistants to keep the section on pace
  • coordinate with the heart of house team to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and work well with others
  • remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and team members
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding company information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • operate various equipment including telephones, water dispensers, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with staff of other departments during regular service and special events
  • assist in opening and closing duties as assigned
