Job Requirements
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of guests
- Have basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Be able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours)
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment while maintaining a team focus

Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- Make all guests feel comfortable and assure them of personal care
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make genuine recommendations
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions
- Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly
- Perform side work as required by service station assignment
- Clean and maintain a sanitary environment throughout the restaurant
- Monitor guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests
- Prepare final bill, present check, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change
- Assist fellow servers and buspersons as needed
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Fill in as required for smooth operation under management direction
