Job Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand continuously
- ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- able to sit infrequently
- able to constantly lift and carry 0-10 pounds and frequently 11-50 pounds
- able to push constantly 0-10 pounds and frequently 11-50 pounds
- able to climb stairs frequently with an option to use an elevator
- able to bend frequently at the waist, knees, hips, and spine
- able to squat frequently to reach below the knee
- able to twist or rotate occasionally
- able to frequently reach and occasionally reach overhead and below waist
- able to see clearly with or without corrective lenses
- able to hear telephone alarms
- strong command of English for reading, writing, and interpreting administrative information
Job Qualifications
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- positive attitude and ability to work well with cooks and other staff
- ability to perform high-quality work unsupervised
- ability to deliver orders in a timely manner
Job Duties
- Support the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, uphold and promote company culture and vision
- take food and drink orders from residents and guests accurately with a positive attitude
- write resident or guest food orders on order slips
- engage with residents in a friendly manner
- have knowledge of the menu and make suggestions
- ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- perform end of shift duties in dining and kitchen
- assist food preparation staff when necessary
- attend training courses and maintain up to date monthly, quarterly, annual training through Learning Management System
- perform other duties as assigned related to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of residents
