The Patina Group is currently hiring part-time Servers for Momosan Ramen by Morimoto in Boston, Massachusetts. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and providing attentive, personalized service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in representing the restaurant's brand and ensuring guests have memorable dining experiences. This role requires delivering outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and accurately taking food and beverage orders. Servers are responsible for serving alcoholic beverages responsibly while adhering to all relevant policies. Additionally, Servers collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment through opening, closing, and side work duties. This is a tipped position, which offers a base hourly pay of $6.75, exclusive of potential tipped earnings, providing an opportunity for income growth based on service quality. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as walk, which may include walking up stairs, stand, and bend for long periods of time
  • Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
  • Beneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Job Duties

  • Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests
  • Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff
  • Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning
