Job Requirements

  • Local applicants only
  • 2+ years experience as a server in a fine dining environment
  • Ability to serve multiple tables
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation
  • Proficient in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Willingness to comply with sanitation standards
  • Adherence to uniform and grooming policies
  • Knowledge of relevant food and beverage laws
  • Must have excellent time management
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as a server in a similar fine dining establishment
  • Ability to serve multiple tables as determined by management
  • Complete knowledge of Bagatelle's food and beverage preparation
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Multilingual a plus
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong customer service background
  • Outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations
  • Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards
  • Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations
  • Excellent time management
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Deliver timely and courteous service to guests in adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests and enhance their experience at all times
  • Maintain a working knowledge of full food and drink menu while making recommendations
  • Use Bagatelle standards of engagement for all service techniques
  • Observe guests' dining experience to confirm satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests
  • Provide guest check promptly and return receipt promptly
  • Keep all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked
  • Assist busser or fellow servers in clearing and resetting tables when needed
  • Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service including eye contact, respectable conversation and smiling
  • Work comfortably in kitchen assisting with plating and serving as needed
  • Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
  • Follow all standards set forth by the Department of Health
  • Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol
  • Perform other related activities as assigned by management
  • Guarantee neat and quality service
  • Close cash register with the manager and calculate tips
