This role is for a Server position within the Gulf Coast Restaurant Group, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. The Server will be responsible for selling and serving food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner that exceeds customer expectations. This position requires the ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining a friendly and efficient service style. The Server must have a strong understanding of food and beverage preparation, a commitment to cleanliness and safety, and the skill to use computerized systems for order taking and payment processing.
A significant aspect of this role involves responsible alcohol service, including verifying guest age, monitoring alcohol consumption, and intervening if necessary to ensure guest safety. The Server must be attentive to guests’ needs, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction. This is a physically demanding job that involves standing for long periods, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. The role also requires adherence to strict hygiene standards and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol

Job Duties
- Pass all server tests
- have complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- serve multiple tables at a time as determined by management
- ability to sell alcohol and food items
- use a computer to ring orders on a check
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- accept different types of payment and make change
- maintain specific side-work and ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- clear and reset tables
- check guest identification to ensure legal age for alcohol consumption and refuse service politely as needed
- observe guest behavior regarding alcohol consumption and offer a taxi if necessary while involving management if required
- ensure complete guest satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene
- perform opening and closing duties efficiently
- handle money accurately
- carry and deliver food and drinks to customers
