Currently, Paws Up Montana is hiring Servers to join their vibrant hospitality team. Servers at Paws Up Montana serve as the vital link between guests and the culinary team, ensuring smooth communication and service flow. The role involves managing multiple facets of the dining experience, from taking orders to addressing guests' special requests and maintaining table settings. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-energy, guest-focused environment where attention to detail and genuine hospitality are paramount. The starting wage for this position is $18 per hour, with the potential for higher pay based on experience. Servers will utilize resort POS systems to accurately enter and deliver guest orders, ensure sanitation and presentation standards are met, and collaborate closely with fellow team members to meet and exceed guest expectations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a server, preferably in a resort or fine dining setting
  • Knowledge of world class hospitality and service
  • Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, food and culinary methods
  • Valid Food Handler's License
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • Proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day
  • Has a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands and with guest, team members, and management

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Take and serve orders
  • Enter guest orders using resort POS systems
  • Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table
  • Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation
  • Attend to guests upon entrance
  • Present menus and help guests select food and beverages
  • Answer questions pertaining to the restaurant menus
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge on all menu items including preparation, any allergens, and alternative preparations, and specials
  • Communicate food restrictions to Food and Beverage and Culinary team
  • Collaborate with server assistants to ensure guests needs are met
  • Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature, order and portions are correct
  • Converse with the guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and fulfill special requests as instructed by management or the guest directly
  • Ensure confidentiality of guests before and throughout their stay
  • Assist with guest service issues accurately and promptly
  • Communicate effectively with Restaurant Manager to assist
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of Resort information and amenities
  • Work in collaboration with other teammates to deliver guests expectations
  • Maintain a clean, organized dining room and workstation
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Maintain table settings, cleanliness and service throughout the course of the meal
  • Present check in a timely manner
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
