This is a full-time position featuring a variable schedule, including days, hours, and rotating weekends, reflecting the dynamic nature of the healthcare hospitality environment. The hourly pay range is from $21.00 to $23.00, offering competitive compensation for individuals who bring both dedication and leadership to the role.

The SERVER LEAD role is instrumental in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for hospital guests while upholding a clean, safe, and hospitable environment. As the server lead, you are the primary point of contact for work-related communication between the team and management, ensuring that operational requests and concerns are efficiently relayed and addressed. Your role includes training and acculturating new associates, enabling them to align with both the company’s and client’s core values and operational standards. Comprehensive knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients is essential to provide expert service and promptly resolve any guest complaints or issues. The SERVER LEAD oversees staff selection, orientation, and training to foster a team that consistently delivers excellence in service. The role demands flexibility, strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to upholding a culture of hospitality that supports healing. The position also includes performing other duties as assigned to support the overall operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work full time with a flexible schedule including rotating weekends
  • Prior server experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to train and lead team members
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary communication link between team members and unit management
  • Train and orient new associates to company and client culture as well as operational procedures
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all menu items and ingredients
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • Assist in employee selection and oversee staff training within areas of responsibility
  • Promote a clean and safe environment for guests
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
