Job Description

Senior Resource Group (SRG) has been a pioneering leader in the senior living community sector for over 37 years in the United States. Renowned for its innovative approach to designing and operating senior living communities, SRG has earned multiple awards for outstanding community design, exceptional care, and excellent service. The company's dedication and passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors have set it apart as a trusted and respected name in the industry. With a commitment to innovation, compassion, and excellence, Senior Resource Group offers a supportive and dynamic work environment for employees who share its values and passion for service.

The role available is a part-time Fine Dining Server position, specifically for dinner shifts, which presents a unique opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering an elevated dining experience within SRG's in-house restaurant. This role combines the art of fine dining with compassionate service, catering to residents and guests in a warm and inviting setting. The server will engage in a team-oriented, fun work environment that emphasizes quality, attentiveness, and a high standard of food presentation. Unlike typical dining roles with late-night hours, this position offers balanced scheduling with NO LATE NIGHTS, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

In this position, the server will be responsible for preparing tables with crisp linen tablecloths, fine china, and offering made-to-order meals prepared from fresh, top-quality ingredients. The menu is seasonal and regionally inspired, constantly evolving to include signature dishes and daily specials that showcase the culinary creativity and quality SRG is known for. The server will present the menu, expertly answer questions, provide personalized suggestions, and ensure each dining experience meets the highest standards. Additionally, the server will coordinate with the kitchen and service bars to relay orders and serve courses efficiently and professionally.

Key aspects of the role include maintaining a clean and inviting dining area by bussing tables, managing linens and serving stations, and upholding all food safety standards by maintaining the required food handler certifications. This position does not require prior experience as comprehensive training is provided, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to start or grow their career in hospitality and customer service within a reputable organization.

Senior Resource Group is committed to providing an inclusive and equitable workplace. They adhere strictly to Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines, ensuring that all employee information is kept confidential and that no discrimination occurs on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age, disability, military status, genetic information, or any other protected category. This includes compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws. The company also enforces a strict non-smoking policy within indoor areas to maintain a healthy environment for all staff and residents.

Joining SRG as a part-time Fine Dining Server will immerse you in a culture of respect, professionalism, and service excellence. It is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that values growth, balance, and making a positive difference in the lives of senior residents through exceptional dining experiences. If you are enthusiastic about hospitality and eager to work in a rewarding, team-centered environment with flexible evening hours, this position offers a fulfilling way to contribute your skills and passion in the thriving senior living community sector.
