This position is a full-time, non-management role focusing on food and beverage service at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando. The role centers on serving food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests while maintaining adherence to the highest standards of service and safety. Associates in this position are responsible for setting tables according to the type of event and specific service standards, providing guests with knowledgeable answers regarding menu selections, and communicating effectively with kitchen staff to relay any special dietary requirements, allergies, or other guest requests. Utilizing the MICROS system, they accurately record orders and process payments while ensuring each guest's satisfaction through follow-up checks during their dining experience.

The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness and order within the work environment, ensuring all work areas and serviceware such as china and glassware remain pristine throughout the day. Associates also complete closing duties, including restocking supplies and turning off lights, to prepare for the following day. The job requires adherence to all company safety and security policies, including reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions and completing any mandated safety training.
