Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in a related customer service or restaurant role preferred
  • Current Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Awareness Certification if applicable
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong memory and communication skills for retaining menu and allergy information
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn POS systems
  • Competency in handling cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a similar or supportive role preferred
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications if applicable
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant POS system
  • Capability to calculate accurate bill amounts and use proper credit card and money handling skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences
  • Highly motivated and flexible with the ability to take initiative
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with quality customer service by demonstrating excellent knowledge of all menu items
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a punctual, courteous, efficient and accurate manner
  • Act as an advocate for the restaurant by creating personalized guest experiences
  • Assist team members while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and order of work areas
  • Greet and welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
  • Receive and process guest orders using the POS system quickly and accurately
  • Prepare and serve meal accompaniments to guests
  • Maintain product knowledge of food, wine, beverage menu(s), and general restaurant information
  • Relay guest complaints to management to ensure an enjoyable experience
  • Perform sidework and assist with setup/breakdown of stations
  • Open bottled wine for guests and provide wine service
  • Support tasks including setting/bussing tables, taking to-go orders, seating guests, and answering phone calls
  • Attend all required company and restaurant trainings and meetings
  • Maintain constant communication with support staff and management
  • Take on additional responsibilities outside of the job description as needed
