The Food Server role at Friendship Village’s Independent Living facility is a vital position centered around delivering outstanding dining experiences to residents. As the primary point of contact during meals, the Food Server plays an essential role in fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere through attentive and courteous service. This full-time position, with working hours primarily between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, offers a competitive edge with a $4,000 sign-on bonus, reflecting the value placed on attracting skilled and dedicated professionals. Job Requirements
- high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent preferred but not required
- experience waiting tables in hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred
- ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers
- requires courtesy, tact, and graciousness
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- ability to perform simple arithmetic
- ability to follow written or oral instructions in English
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
- able to walk long periods of time
Job Qualifications
