Job Requirements

  • high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent preferred but not required
  • experience waiting tables in hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred
  • ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers
  • requires courtesy, tact, and graciousness
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • ability to perform simple arithmetic
  • ability to follow written or oral instructions in English
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
  • able to walk long periods of time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • greet customers and residents in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders accurately
  • deliver orders promptly to kitchen staff
  • serve food to residents ensuring correctness
  • assist residents with their dining needs
  • maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area
  • work collaboratively with dining and kitchen staff
