Job Duties

  • Shadow and assist experienced servers in greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring great service
  • Learn IHOP’s menu, specials, and guest service standards to confidently make recommendations and answer questions
  • Support food delivery and table service to maintain smooth operations and quick turnaround times
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area
  • Learn how to accurately use the point-of-sale (POS) system for order entry and payment processing
  • Work with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely and accurate service
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and complete all learning checkpoints required to advance to a server role
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures to maintain a safe and clean workplace
