Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or food service preferred
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and writing
- effective communication skills
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shift
- capable of lifting or moving up to 25 pounds
- full mobility of hands and arms to perform repetitive tasks like transporting plates, glasses, and baskets between the kitchen and dining rooms
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere
- take orders from guests and answer any questions they may have
- serve drinks and food promptly and courteously
- accommodate guests' needs and special requests in a timely manner
- make suggestions regarding food and drink options
- clean guest tables and maintain a tidy dining area
- use a point-of-sale computerized register system to relay orders to the kitchen
- present the guests check and handle cash or credit card payments with efficiency and accuracy
