Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is a well-established hospitality company with a rich history of over 100 years serving guests in iconic locations. The company operates concessions, premium dining, and restaurants at notable venues such as the Green Bay Packers' Lambeau Field and Titletown in Green Bay, Wisconsin. At Titletown, Delaware North manages Homefield Pub & Social, which includes exciting attractions like Topgolf Swing Suites and hosts seasonal events such as sledding and ice skating. Delaware North is currently seeking part-time Servers to join their team at Homefield Pub and Social in Green Bay. This role is pivotal as Servers act as the face of the restaurant, ensuring guests receive excellent service throughout their visit. This position is tipped, with an hourly wage starting at $3.50 excluding tips, which can significantly enhance total earnings. The Server will be responsible for greeting guests, providing menus, communicating specials, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish. Additionally, this role involves handling payments, serving alcoholic beverages responsibly, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous experience as a server or similar guest service position strongly preferred
  • Previous experience with a point-of-sale system in service or hospitality environment preferred (MICROS experience preferred)
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment food safety and alcohol service training
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple table assignments at one time
  • Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names, as well as basic wine knowledge
  • Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, provide menus, communicate restaurant specials, answer questions about menu items, collect food and beverage orders, serve items ordered, attend to guests' needs throughout their visit
  • Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system for kitchen and bar staff
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, adhere to alcohol service policies
  • Prepare and deliver the check to guests, accept and process payment
  • Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff
  • Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties
  • Ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functional
