Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol
- high school diploma or equivalent
- pass all server tests
- able to stand and walk for long periods
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- able to work long hours including weekends and holidays
- able to maintain personal hygiene and neat appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior restaurant experience preferred
- thorough knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- capable of using computerized order systems
- understanding of legal alcohol service requirements
- strong ethical conduct and initiative
- ability to work fast and friendly under pressure
Job Duties
- Pass all server tests
- have complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- serve multiple tables at a time as determined by management
- sell alcohol and food items
- use a computer to ring orders
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- accept different types of payment and make change
- maintain specific side-work and ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- clear and reset tables
- check guest identification for legal alcohol consumption
- observe guest behavior when serving alcohol and offer taxi if needed
- treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform
- perform opening and closing duties efficiently
- handle money
- carry and deliver food and drinks to customers
