This position is a waitstaff role focused on delivering high-quality service to guests through Spare Time Entertainment's established Steps of Service. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the menu and an ability to make personalized suggestions to guests, enhancing their dining experience. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with promoting the venue’s unique features and upcoming events, ensuring guests are well-informed and engaged. Responsibilities include patrolling assigned sections to respond quickly to guest needs and proactively resolving any issues to maintain customer satisfaction.

Waitstaff will be required to strictly enforce Spare Time Entertainment’s alcohol policies, including reviewing guest identification and monitoring alcohol consumption in compliance with company policy, state laws, and regulations. Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation when necessary is also a key part of the role, along with strictly adhering to food safety and quality standards to ensure guest health and safety.

This position demands excellent operational skills with the POS (Point of Sale) system to accurately ring orders, process payments, and provide guests with their bills. Organization and record-keeping are central to this role, as the waitstaff must complete shift paperwork and settlements consistently and professionally. The job also includes opening and closing duties, preparing tables for new guests, maintaining clean and orderly seating areas, and following preventative maintenance programs to keep equipment in optimal condition.

Inventory management plays a crucial role in this position, as employees are expected to keep products stocked, organized, and communicate any shortages to supervisory staff promptly. Maintaining current required certifications, such as SERVSafe or TIPS depending on the state’s requirements, ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
