Job Requirements
- must have a neat and clean appearance
- strong customer service orientation
- able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- must be at least 16 years old or meet local age requirements
- able to stand for extended periods
- capable of following health and safety regulations
- good physical stamina
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- positive attitude and professional appearance
- willingness to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures
- basic math skills for handling guest receipts
Job Duties
- ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
- practice positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and an inclusive environment for all guests
- be aware of guests’ needs and work to make their experience pleasurable
- show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
- promote teamwork by assisting other Servers to ensure outstanding guest service
- thoroughly understand product specifications and ensure guest receipts match the number of guests dining
- perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
- bring equipment and facility problems to the attention of the Manager
- follow correct table bussing procedures
- follow safe work practices to ensure personal safety and safety of coworkers and guests
- perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
- follow local health department laws
