Job Requirements

  • must have a neat and clean appearance
  • strong customer service orientation
  • able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • must be at least 16 years old or meet local age requirements
  • able to stand for extended periods
  • capable of following health and safety regulations
  • good physical stamina

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • positive attitude and professional appearance
  • willingness to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • basic math skills for handling guest receipts

Job Duties

  • ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
  • practice positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and an inclusive environment for all guests
  • be aware of guests’ needs and work to make their experience pleasurable
  • show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
  • promote teamwork by assisting other Servers to ensure outstanding guest service
  • thoroughly understand product specifications and ensure guest receipts match the number of guests dining
  • perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
  • bring equipment and facility problems to the attention of the Manager
  • follow correct table bussing procedures
  • follow safe work practices to ensure personal safety and safety of coworkers and guests
  • perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
  • follow local health department laws
